This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Thanks for your comment. It's all right, not many people seem to appreciate critique much on this site nowadays. Though, I don't mind if the artist themselves tell me that they don't want it, rather than a friend or an acquaintance of the artist.
I usually am quite thorough with my critique, so I assume it's the length that gets people, which a lot of it is me explaining myself rather than pointing out the bad. I assume I have to work on that nasty habit.
okay, listen to me, listening? good. i understand that you are giving people tips on how to make a picture or flash better, and that's fine. but look, some people are sensitive about their work, so it's best not to tell them what's wrong, just say what they can should work on a little more without waying it's bad in some way.

I'm not going to stop giving critique, unless the artist themselves tell me to. And I usually critique someone who I see will have potential in the future, so that goes to say that I do think he's good, or she's good, depending on whom you're talking about.
There is no reason for you to be so condescending, if the artist themselves don't want a critique, let them tell me.
I never said the work was bad, it just had a few different things to work on. Which is understandable. No one is perfect, and if he wants to improve it'd be best if he listened to some people's tips.
Also, if they truly are incredibly sensitive then they may want to consider posting "critique discourage" on their deviation, because as far as I can tell they were indifferent to getting a critique.
If your friend is one of those sensitive folks, I do advice him to put up "critique discourage" from now on. Otherwise he's letting himself open to critique, which people do give on this website. I, one of them.
Also, if he didn't appreciate it, let him come to me. I rather hear it from him. No offense.

Please critique that. And be honest, even if you don't have anything nice to say. I really want to win this contest.
There I redid the thing but is that kinda along the lines of what you were thinking?
